PROFITTHEORY

How we work

A real person, smart tools and a plan built for your business

Your financing specialist guides you from first question to lender conversation. Our tools do the heavy lifting behind the scenes so your specialist can focus on your deal.

1. Start with the numbers

Use our calculators and the financing plan builder to see payments, debt coverage and the structures that fit your goal. No email required.

2. Talk with a financing specialist

Send a short request. Your financing specialist reviews it personally, reaches out and answers your questions — what lenders will look for, how long to finance, and what's realistic for your business and industry.

3. Get a tailored financing plan

Together you settle on the right structure, amount and term. We build the supporting math: a cash-flow workbook with add-backs and coverage, and sources and uses of funds.

4. Build your lender-ready package

We help you tailor your business plan or deal summary and organize the documents lenders ask for. Sensitive documents are only shared through a lender's secure portal — never by email or web form.

5. Introduction and follow-through — with your consent

When there's a fit, your financing specialist asks your permission before introducing you to a specific, named lender, and stays in the loop through the process. Lenders make all credit decisions; approval is never guaranteed.

Payments, too

For card processing, we start with your effective rate and workflow, then review whether a change fits how you get paid.

How engagements and compensation work

Profit Theory, LLC does not accept every request. We take on engagements that make sense and that we believe we can execute. Each engagement is governed by a separate written agreement that discloses how we are paid before work begins.

Depending on the situation, we may be paid directly by the lender or provider, or paid through the loan closing process and deducted from proceeds at closing. On larger transactions, a modest retainer may apply to cover process costs while we source financing.

The website tools and an initial introduction request cost nothing. There is no guarantee of approval, rates, savings or timing.

Profit Theory, LLC is not owned by or affiliated with any lender or payment processor. We only work with providers we believe can execute for a given situation.
